Joe Biden has yet to hit the presidential campaign trail in earnest. But we already know what kind of candidate he’ll be because his catalog of speeches is immense.

And that catalog shows that not only is he the most experienced candidate in the mix, but also the most sincere. I recently went back through that catalog. Here are a few selections from what I found.

“But literally I mean this sincerely … this is not hyperbole”

“Let me say up front and I mean this sincerely…”

Biden is up front. He tells you he’s sincere. He’s never hyperbolic about it and he means it.

“It’s about who we are as a country and it’s not hyperbole.”

“But I mean this sincerely…”

Whether it’s a eulogy, a commencement address, or a red meat political speech, what Joe really, really wants you to know is that he means it.

“This is not the America I know, and I mean that.”

It’s just that sometimes, a better way to be sincere is not to have to say so every single time. In fact, he has even told himself that.

“No one ever doubts I mean what say. The problem, occasionally, is that I say all that I mean. I have a bad reputation for being straight.”

No, Joe, actually I don’t think you have a bad reputation for being straight. I think you have a good reputation for being straight. I think you have a bad habit of always having to tell us!

When does a protest cross the line? I can answer that. When it devolves into violence, obviously it crosses a line.

Ross: Are we killing car culture? Or is car culture killing the US?

I don’t think the question is whether we're going to "kill" our car culture. The real question is can we stop our car culture from killing the U.S.?

Every move you make, every swerve you take, every lane change you fake – someone’s watching you. Do drivers have a right to keep driving data private?
