Cold Case: A Hit-and-Run Still Haunts Kitsap
On a warm August night in 2021, 36-year-old Vince Giamanna went out for a walk near his home on Clear Creek Road near Poulsbo in Kitsap County. He never made it home.
Investigators say Vince was hit by a vehicle that simply kept going. His partner, Andrew Padula, was at home when flashing emergency lights outside caught his eye. The couple had just moved from Seattle to what they believed would be their dream home. Nearly five years later, the case remains unsolved.
Detectives believe the car that struck Vince was a dark-colored 2007–2012 Nissan Sentra. Crime Stoppers of Puget Sound is offering a $15,000 reward for information leading to an arrest and charges.
Anyone with information should call the Kitsap County Sheriff's Office, 911, or Crime Stoppers of Puget Sound at 1-800-222-TIPS.
