A Mother’s Day that ended in tragedy and a case that remains unsolved six years later.
Connor Dassa Halland was just 18 years old when he was shot and killed outside his family’s home in Seattle’s Rainier Beach neighborhood on Mother’s Day 2020. A student leader, football captain, and beloved son, Connor had stepped outside to move a car when shots were fired.
Despite video evidence of a vehicle leaving the scene, no arrests have been made. Now, as another Mother’s Day approaches, his family is still searching for answers.
