Wild Waves Is Closing for Good After 50 Years
After nearly 50 years as a Pacific Northwest summertime staple, Wild Waves Theme & Water Park is closing for good.
The park opens Saturday at 11 a.m. and will run through November, wrapping up with its popular Fright Fest event. Originally founded in 1977 as Enchanted Village by Byron and May Betts — with the Wild Waves water park added in 1984 — the I-5 mainstay has been a generational tradition for Northwest families.
