41 Days Before the World Trade Towers Fell, Charlie Harger Said Goodbye to Them
On August 1, 2001, Charlie Harger stood on the balcony of his Jersey City apartment for the last time, looking across the Hudson at the twin towers. He worked in Manhattan. The PATH train dropped him inside the Trade Center every morning. Forty-one days later, the towers were gone. This is his reflection, 25 years later.
