A 3.2 magnitude earthquake struck just north of Olympia on Monday night.

Seismologists say a 3.2 magnitude earthquake struck just outside of Olympia early Monday night.

According to the Pacific Northwest Seismic Network, the quake occurred just after 6 p.m. roughly 25 miles northwest of Olympia, and had a depth of nearly 27 miles. Generally, incidents like this one with more depth tend to be less severe than more shallow earthquakes.

No injuries or damage was reported.
