Three of five 16-year-olds wanted in connection with the murder of a Parkland man were arrested and booked by the Pierce County Sheriff’s Office early Thursday.

The boys were wanted for the May 18 murder of 38-year-old Lorenzo Parks. He was shot and killed during an attempted robbery.

Over the weekend, police arrested two men, ages 19 and 20, in connection with the murder.

Two other 16-year-olds, Dakota Collins and James Mapp, are still wanted.

Pictures of the five teens were shared last week by the Pierce County Sheriff’s Department.

All five have been charged with murder, as adults.
According to charging documents, the five teens accompanied the two men looking to rob someone that day.

Prosecutors say Parks was shot to death even though he showed the suspects his pockets to show he had nothing to give them.
