From ugly sweaters to white elephants, people are celebrating the holidays all over the Puget Sound, but unfortunately, not everyone is planning ahead.
If you are going to be drinking, there’s an app for that. Take five minutes to schedule Uber or Lyft.
If you’re concerned about your car, you can use BeMyDD. You schedule a pickup through the app, the driver shows up, and takes you where you need to go in your car. The service charges $14 to $19.50 an hour for a driver, or $25 and a mileage fee for a car pickup service.
According to Washington State Trooper Chris Webb, 22 of those DUI arrests came on Black Friday alone.
