Two weeks ago, an Auburn officer was arrested on a felony charge. He's already been fired. Compare that to Jeffrey Nelson, the Auburn cop charged with second-degree murder in 2020 and kept on the payroll until 2025 — nearly $100,000 a year while charged with killing a man on duty.
