Carl Verheyen: The Guitarist Behind Supertramp, Seinfeld & More
Carl Verheyen has been the guitar behind some of the most recognizable music in movies, television, and rock 'n' roll for more than four decades — and this Friday, July 24, he brings his five-piece band to Seattle's Triple Door for a 7:30 p.m. show that will showcase the full range of a career few guitarists in the world can match.
Named one of the top 10 guitarists in the world by Guitar Magazine and one of the 100 greatest guitarists of all time by Classic Rock Magazine, Verheyen served as Supertramp's lead guitarist for more than 30 years while also becoming one of Los Angeles' most in-demand session musicians — with credits on soundtracks like Star Trek, The Usual Suspects, and Ratatouille, and TV shows including Seinfeld, Frasier, and Cheers.
