Marshawn Lynch interrupts phone interview to give teammate some rest

There was an unexpected guest on the Seahawks post-game show on KIRO and 710 ESPN this Sunday when Marshawn Lynch grabbed the phone from fellow Seahawks player Zach Miller during an interview.
“We’re on the flight right now. We’re not trying to hear what you talking about. We want to enjoy what we got going on. Can you please call back tomorrow?” said Lynch.
After asking if the interview was live, Lynch continued.
“Zach just went through battle and ya’ll want to talk. We appreciate what you got going on right now. Zach is tired, he want to go to sleep. It’s about a four and a half hour flight. He would like to get some rest. He’s got to go home to twins and he ain’t really trying to hear what you all are talking about right now. I’m sorry but we appreciate it, thank you.”
While typically it’s Miller blocking for Marshawn, it looks like this time Marshawn stepped in to protect his teammate.
