Sound Transit Won't Break Even Until 2071?
Sound Transit's own 2016 analysis said the "expected benefits" of ST3 won't exceed its costs until 2071. And that was before the budget ballooned.

The population growth Sound Transit is planning for isn't happening where they think it is. Light rail is projected to carry just 2% of daily trips in the Puget Sound region by 2050. And the price tag has already crossed $150 billion.
