Sara Nelson may be leaving the Seattle City Council, but she’s not fading quietly. She tried to streamline the city’s permitting mess — the council voted her down. She blocked city-funded meth pipes on her way out.
And she left incoming mayor Katie Wilson with a parting shot: “I wish her the best, but she’s gonna have a bad time.”
