Oversize loads are banned from most Washington freeways during morning and afternoon commutes. Curfew zones exist in Seattle, Tacoma, Olympia, Vancouver, Kelso, and Spokane, with hours that vary by location. WSP Commercial Vehicle Enforcement Officer Andrew Stevens says these massive loads take up a full lane and then some—which would only make rush hour worse.
