What Is That Giant Structure Being Built Along I-5?
Drivers keep asking Sully about the massive, imposing structure rising along the west side of I-5 just north of the 145th overpass. Here's the answer.
It's a 258-foot-long pedestrian bridge that will connect the west side of I-5 directly to the new 145th light rail station on the east side of the freeway. Crews are building it in place along the freeway, and it will be moved into position later this year.
